Servicing and Car repair

Servicing your car matters, and there are plenty of reasons why. Whether you have a new vehicle which needs maintenance to upkeep your warranty, or an older vehicle which needs extra care, a full service of your car should be a yearly procedure.

Filter changes prevent debris and dirt entering the inside of your engine and vehicle, stopping damage. Changes to your oil and filters will allow your vehicle run to it’s best capacity,  keeping your engine running smoothly whilst protecting your car from wear and tear. Not only will we change the oil, but check you have the correct coolant levels and antifreeze. Your air conditioning however will not usually be covered, to find out more click here.

A service will not only save you money in the long run, but will keep you safe. We check your brakes, disks and pads, alongside checking if your brake fluid needs changing. Also, to meet the standards of the UK Tread Depth Requirements, we will check all your tyres tread depth and make sure they are free from any damage.

Lights, windscreen wipers and and fluid will also be topped up if necessary and checked. We will complete all of this from the comfort of your home.

Our mobile car repair services

Many car owners will fulfil the requirements of their yearly MOT but nothing more. Whether new or old, keeping your car’s service history updated and full can help keep the value of the car when you sell it. Demonstrating the car has been well looked after during it’s time.

A missing service history, or lack of servicing on the car, may potentially affect the car’s performance and could mean there’s unrecognised issues which may cause further damage in the future. Our mobile car repair service can come and service your car, for you.

Checks during a car service can include:

  • Engine oil and oil filter
  • Lights, tyres, bodywork and exhausts
  • Brakes and steering
  • Fluid and coolant levels
  • Suspension
  • Car battery

Depending on how long it has been since your car has had it’s last service, can affect the type of service required. An interim car service will include a check of your drive belt, an engine oil change alongside an oil filter replacement. If it has been a year then we suggest a full service, in which lights, tyres, brakes and steering will be checked. All fluid levels will be checked and replaced if necessary. Air, oil and fuel filters will be changed.

If it has been longer than a year then we may test your battery, change your spark plugs and check your air conditioning. A diagnostics test will also show whether there are any potential issues your car is dealing with which you may not have recognised.

Whichever service you need, we strive to provide our customers with complete peace of mind; confidence that your car will run smooth until it’s next MOT or service. If you are interested in what we offer, contact us here to enquire, and get you booked in and ready to go.
